NOTE: There was a problem with Weather.ini, the weather always displayed for Bethesda. archie321 found a fix:
Open weather.ini and user variables in notepad, minimize both (or keep them up, whatever works for you)
go to weather.yahoo.com (I'll be using Tampa, FL)
Copy the numbers at the end and put them in user variables (......tampa-2503863/ Those are the numbers you want)
Paste those numbers to the end of this URL: [link]
In weather.ini replace the url with that (URL is under [MeasureWeatherRSS])
Delete the 'Postfix' line in [MeterTemp] and add:
Postfix="#Unit#"
StringCase=Upper
Save both files
Press refresh on the rainmeter console for weather.ini

It's finally here! After months of waiting, metrosimple 2 is out. It's now a .rmskin package, so you can install it with ease!
Lot's of new things in this version (as described in the picture).
Read the notes below before installing.

Notes:
- You'll need the Segoe WP fonts to use this.
- The GMail and Weather variables are now in a file in @Resources/UserVariables.inc. Open that with a plain text editor (eg. Notepad) and edit the variables.

The wallpaper used is from the Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal repository. You can view that here: [link]
Also, thanks to fediaFedia for some code from Omnimo.

Wow, 3500 downloads! Thanks, guys! A new one's coming soon!
And thanks for the fav's too!

I think you have your weather solution incorrect.
I found that I had to change this line:
Url=[link]
USMD0001 stands for
United States
Maryland
and the 1st city in alphabetical order

What happens? Does it leave a question mark for the counter? Did you enter the correct username and password?

Do you have unread emails there? Also, did you enter the password correctly in UserVariables.inc?

Really great theme! Thank you! But I have a problem about setting weather widget. The city is set, that was no problem, but honestly I cannot find the setting from Fahrenheit to Celsius... Can you please help me? As a mainland European, Fahrenheit degrees do not mean too much to me... :) Thanks in advance!

You can find the variable for units in the UserVariables.inc in teh @Resources folder. Just open that with a program like Notepad and change the "F" to "C".

Set. Made another try in another way and I managed to set it! :) Now I will gladly use it! Thank you for this fantastic theme! (I made some adjustments concerning fonts and colors to fit my desk, I hope you don't mind! I'm not repackiging it.)

Great work!! Simple, clean and beautiful.

I am having problems with Gmail 3List and Weather.
1. The Gmail counter works but not the 3List.
2. No matter what code I put in the weather Woeid, I still get default weather in Bethesda!!
3. What do I put in "Unit=?"

I was having this problem too. Found how to make it work.

Open weather.ini and user variables in notepad, minimize both (or keep them up, whatever works for you)
go to weather.yahoo.com (I'll be using Tampa, FL)
Copy the numbers at the end and put them in user variables (......tampa-2503863/ Those are the numbers you want)

Save both files
Press refresh on the rainmeter console for weather.ini

Hopefully this helps :D

And, of course, to find @Resources, open your start menu and type @Resources

Sorry about that. I'll upload a fix for Weather.ini and 3List.ini.

The Unit= should be either "f" or "c" for Fahrenheit/Celsius.

I can confirm archie321 fixes the weather, but putting a "C" into the user variables does not work regardless of what you do, it still displays "F".

I found a solution, edit the Metro Simple Weather skin in notepad and change the last line of [MeterTemp] from Postfix="F" to Postfix="C"
Below is what section of the skin to look for:
[MeterTemp]
Meter=STRING
Antialias=1
MeasureName=MeasureWeatherTemp
X=5
Y=15
FontColor=255,255,255,255
FontSize=40
FontFace=Segoe WP Light
AntiAlias=1
Postfix="C"

I hope I have made things easier and not complicated matters any further! :)

Yeah, I realized that too. But instead of putting C, use the variable instead, and add a StringCase line.

So the extra lines would be:
Postfix="#Unit#"
StringCase=Upper

I'm pretty sure I found the solution to it. You may want to put the info I posted up top, so people can edit the skin :)

You're doing better than I am. I can't get either to work. It just defaults to Bethesda and my email won't work either.

I think Unit= should be F but I don't honestly know.
